The Sharks send their condolences
It is with a great deal of sadness that I write to advise you of the sudden passing of Cooper Ratten. Cooper was tragically killed in a car accident in Yarra Glen in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Cooper was 16 years of age and had previously played at the Sharks. He is well known to the players of our Colts Black, and his younger brother, Tanner, is a player in our Under 13 Black team.
The Sharks community express our condolences to the Ratten family at this difficult time and wish to assure them that as a community we are here to support them.
Semi Final Results!
Last week we had seven starters for the finals, and now five remain!
Well done to our Under 12 Blacks coached by Gary Moerenhout, and Under 14 Blacks coached by Andrew Mortlock for your fantastic season. Your attendance week after week and the bonus of making finals is reward in itself!
Congratulations to our Under 11 Red coached by Andrew Schafer, and Under 15 Red coached by Mark Lowther for winning their semi-finals and moving through to the Grand Final on Sunday 23 August 2015. Great effort all!
Best of luck to our remaining teams who get another chance at a potential finals birth this Sunday. It would be great again to all the Sharks family out this Sunday in support of our remaining teams.

DATE CHANGE! DATE CHANGE! DATE CHANGE! – Presentation Day – Sunday 20 September 2015!
Due to a clash with games, presentations, etc with a number of our stakeholder sporting clubs, the Sharks have changed the date for the Presentation.
Presentation Day will still be held at Domeney Reserve, with the date moved back one week to Sunday 20 September 2015. Apologies for any inconvenience.
As per last season, the day will be split into sessions with the Annual General Meeting occurring at the midway point. For those who need to attend both sessions, volunteers will be putting on a bbq and drinks. The timings are as follow:
- Under 8 and 9 30 am – 11.00 am
- Under 10, 11 and 12 15 am – 12.00 pm
- Under 13, 14, 15, Colts and AGM 30 pm – 2.00 pm
DATE CHANGE! DATE CHANGE! – Annual General Meeting – Sunday 20 September 2015!
The Park Orchards North Ringwood Annual General Meeting will be held at 12.30 pm on Sunday 20 September 2015 at Domeney Reserve, coinciding with the interval of our Presentation Day.
This meeting will discuss such items the years football and financial performance, and it is hoped that we will also identify and vote in new committee members. Any member wishing to agenda items for discussion must do so 14 days prior to the meeting.
Each member eligible to vote is entitled to appoint another member who is eligible to vote as a proxy by notice given to the Secretary no later than 48 hours before the time of the meeting. Proxy forms are available on request via the club President of Secretary.
