The Burger Night was wet and cold, but the turn out fantastic. So why stop there? Like me you are probably wondering what you will do next Sunday? Well, don’t lie in bed, go out for breakfast, relax or do the chores, come and support one of our FIVE finals teams. I will see you there!

2015 Sharks Sprint Winner – Harry Kerr!
I would like to acknowledge the fantastic run by Harry Kerr in this years Shark Sprint. Starting as the back marker, Harry was able to edge out gallant effort by all our representatives with a photo being called to determine who finished first. Well done Harry!
Presentation Day – Sunday 14 September 2014!
The Sharks will again hold a Presentation Day at Domeney Reserve. Unlike last season, the day will be divided into three two sessions with the Annual General Meeting occurring at the midway point. Volunteers will be putting on a bbq, lollies and drinks for those attending. Timings are as follows:
12.00 – 1.00 Tackers
1.30 – 3.00 Under 10 to 12
3.30 – 5.00 Annual General Meeting, followed by the Under 13 to Colts
Annual General Meeting – Sunday 14 September 2014!
The Park Orchards North Ringwood Annual General Meeting will be held at on Sunday 14 September 2014 at Domeney Reserve, coinciding with the interval of our Presentation Day, commencing 3.30 p.m.
This meeting will discuss such items the years football and financial performance, and it is hoped that we will also identify and vote in new committee members. Any member wishing to agenda items for discussion must do so 14 days prior to the meeting.
Each member eligible to vote is entitled to appoint another member who is eligible to vote as a proxy by notice given to the Secretary no later than 48 hours before the time of the meeting. Proxy forms are available on request via the club President of Secretary.
Team Break Ups!
For those of you who like to plan ahead and you are looking to hold an end of year function for your team at Domeney Reserve, can I ask that you raise this through our Secretary Ondine Lowther for coordination?
We Need You On Committee!
I recently sent out a letter to all families at the Sharks Junior Football Club seeking your support on Committee. The offers of help have been overwhelming with several people putting up their hands to help out in Season 2015. We can always do with more, so please, if you have something to offer in 2015 can you PLEASE give me a call.
