The Yarra Junior Football League is the largest junior competition in Australia, with more than 8,900 registered players over 37 member clubs in 2012. It fields Representative Teams from Tackers (Under 9s) to Colts (Under 16s and 17s), including two divisions for girls – Under 12s and Youth Girls (Under 18s) – and has produced the highest number of AFL players of any junior competition in Australia.
