Hi all Sharks,
Round 13 completed on a wonderful winter’s day with sunshine for most of it. It seemed to be a weekend for Milestones at the matches that I attended. Five boys played their 100th games and smashed through banners made with love. Well done and congratulations to all milestone games played by the boys. At next week’s burger night we will have 50 game medals and 100 game trophies to hand out from the 18th of June onwards. Those that may occur during finals will be handed out at presentation day on the 10th of September. Continue Reading

Hi All Sharks,
Congratulations to the Mums and Dads who turned up for our annual Social Evening. This year we returned to “Rosebank” in North Ringwood and it certainly offered an environment of sophistication. There were plenty of various dishes offered during the course of the evening and having two bars open led to fast service. The noise grew during the evening and the laughter was at fever pitch! I trust all Players, Mums and Dads enjoyed their break over the holidays. I know the committee welcomed the chance to charge their batteries and put their feet up for a few days. By golly, it was certainly a cold morning last Sunday. I was at Warrandyte at 8:30am and had watched the temperature in the car drop on the drive from home down to -2 degrees. Warrandyte oval was a picture perfect white blanket, all I needed was my snow skis. Continue Reading
